Temlock
makes up half of the SP rhythm section playing the five-string bass.
He is a versatile bassist known for his unique style which incorporates
elements of jazz, jam bands and funk. In addition to bass, Temlock
can sometimes be found playing his didgeridoos or any vacuum cleaner
tube with good back pressure. Before joining Satisfaction Pony,
Temlock began his musical career at Washington University in St.
Louis where he played in the student jazz combo in addition to his
regular jam sessions with close friends. Upon graduation, Temlock
moved to Vail, Colorado where he returned to his musical roots of
the Appalachians and fell in with the Backburner Bluegrass Band.
A year later Temlock moved glossy eyed and
full of dreams to New York City where he quickly found a disdain
for offices and bosses before joining the elite ranks of SP where
he can currently be found.
