October 1, 2007

We are pleased to announce that on October 14, 2007 Satisfaction Pony will return to play at the Oysterfest in Oyster Bay, Long Island. We will be playing for free outdoors (or indoors, should the weather turn bad) on the back terrace at the Il Piatto Restaurant in Oyster Bay, starting at 1 PM. We are also pleased to announce that Tony Randazzo has joined Satisfaction Pony (bio page to be updated soon) and he will be playing keys and guitar with the band on Sunday at the show.

Sadly, the summer is almost over. However, there is some good news. After taking some time off following the departure of our bassist Temlock (who is now back in Nashville attending graduate school), Satisfaction Pony is back in action and preparing to start doing some gigs soon. Check back in the next few weeks to see some new info about our current lineup and upcoming shows.

I hope everyone got a chance to catch Satisfaction Pony on the radio last Thursday morning. Satisfaction Pony was interviewed on 90.1 FM (WUSB-FM) and two of our tunes were played. This was all part of a lead-up to our gig next Saturday at around 1:30 at the Crazy Donkey. This fund-raising charity event is to benefit the Huntington Hospital, so I hope everyone can make it. Tickets will be available at the door. You can find more information about the show in our "Shows" section of the website.

Thanks to everyone who came on May 12 to see our return gig at the Lion's Den. We are now pleased to announce that we will be playing one of our longest gigs yet on June 22, 2006, at Tin Lizzies (more details in the shows page - click the left button). We will be playing two 45-minute sets at Tin Lizzies for only a $5 cover. So, if you haven't seen the band in a while, this will be a good show to see, as we will be playing a variety of covers and originals.

Also, two days later we will be playing as part of the Long Island Harbor Fest, a charity event to support Huntington Hospital. If you're interested in music, it will be a great place to mingle with many people involved in different aspects of the industry.

Thanks to everyone who managed to come to see us at the Lion's Den on St. Patty's Day! You made the night a rousing success and we are already looking forward to playing there again in the next month or two. At the moment, we have no gigs scheduled until May 12, 2006 at the Lion's Den (check the "Shows" page for more info), but we are considering adding some shows in April. In the meantime, we're looking forward to using the time-off to get some studio recordings done. We also hope to post some live clips from our show at Kenny's Castaways on February 11, 2006 on the wesbite during our short break from live performances.

February 16, 2006

Thanks to everyone for coming to our February 11, 2006 show at Kenny's Castaways. It turned out to be a great time thanks to all the fans showing up. The show was actually taped by no less than two different people in the audience, so we hope to have some of the best clips from the show up on the website soon!

That being said, we have some great shows coming up. On February 23rd (a Thursday night) at 8:30 PM, we will by playing at the Continental again. Then, on St. Patty's day we will be playing at the Lion's Den, starting at 7:30! We hope to see you all there as it's sure to be great time.

UPDATE: We are pleased to announce that our January 30th gig at the Pussycat Lounge is now back on! Information about the show can be found in the "Shows" section of the website which you can get to by clicking on "Shows" to the left.

Also, in addition to the January 30th gig, we have plenty of upcoming gigs including a February 11th gig at Kenny's Castaways, February 23rd at the Continental and a St. Patty's night gig at the Lion's Den. Please check the "Shows" section for more information! We plan on introducing some new material at the gigs, so we look forward to seeing you there.

I hope everyone had a Happy New Year! The good news is that Satisfaction Pony now has several gigs scheduled for the next two months and we expect to fit a few more in soon. These include a January 30th gig at the Pussycat Lounge and also a February 11th gig at Kenny's Castaways down in the Village. Please click on "Shows" to the left to get more information about these venues and times. We also have another gig at the Continental planned for a bit later in February that we will post information about soon. We expect to introduce some new original material at these gigs, so please come and check us out if you have the chance.

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Continental and saw us on 11/27! It turned out to be a great show, and we look forward to seeing you all at the next show! If our schedules all work out (one of the SP members has been doing quite a bit of traveling) we plan to perform again at the Continental in a few weeks. We will let you know soon if this gig will happen, but in the meantime please keep checking back because we already have some gigs scheduled for late January and early February in New York that will be posted to the "Shows" section soon. We've put some photos up in the "Photos" section of our recent Continental gig for you to check out.

Happy Halloween! Thanks to everyone for the great turn-out at the Oyster Bay Oyster Fest on October 15. The weather and crowd turned out to be great!

The good news is that Satisfaction Pony has a gig now scheduled in Manhattan on Sunday, November 27th at the Continental. Please click on shows to the left for additional details. We hope to see you all there!

Satisfaction Pony will be playing at the 22nd annual Oyster Festival in Oyster Bay, Long Island this weekend on Saturday, October 15, 2005. For more information please click on the "Shows" menu button to the left. Not only will this be a great venue to hear some live music, but it will also be a great place to bring family and friends. We look forward to seeing you all there!

Well, some new demos are finally ready for your listening enjoyment. Recorded in a "live" setting, they give a decent example of what the band sounds like live playing some older tunes that you might have heard played at past gigs. In addition to these songs SP is also hard at work at other new original material . Currently there is more than an album's worth of new material that's in various states and we hope to have them ready for upcoming gigs. Speaking of gigs, we expect to have a few scheduled for early September! So, please keep checking back for further updates on SP's upcoming shows.

Well, another month has gone by and we are in the dead of summer. However, this doesn't mean that Satisfaction Pony has been taking it easy. Work has continued on the new set of demo songs which will soon be posted to the website. The recording experience has been great so far, and all of the members of SP look forward to getting the some of the demo songs up to the website shortly. Once the demo is complete, SP will begin performing live in New York City again, as early as August. Please keep checking back for updates as the later part of summer looks to be a busy one for SP including both new gig dates and new songs!

Welcome to the new, yet familiar, website. Over the past few months Satisfaction Pony has reformed with a group of highly talented musicians. In addition to Robin Haden (lead vocals) and Jonathan Temlock (bass) joining the band a few months ago, please welcome Bryan Goski to Satisfaction Pony. Bryan is taking over rhythm guitar and backup vocal duties from Dave Garvey, who is getting married in July and is quite busy!

Currently, the band is getting ready for some live shows later this summer and recording new material. Please keep checking back for more updates and future gigs. The Pony rides again!
